Thank you for your
interest in Hear and Now. As musicians, we realize
the importance of being seen and heard. You know
how expensive and time consuming that is. Effective
promotion of your music either locally or
internationally is difficult when you need to focus
on rehearsing, writing, and recording your material.
As you know, the internet is quickly becoming a
primary way people communicate, entertain, shop,
and do business. You can see that this technology
provides us with the potential to reach a large,
international audience with your music. The cost of
this promotion is about 1 / 10th of the cost of
renting a rehearsal room for the same amount of
time. From a business standpoint it is easy to see
that this form of promotion is very cost effective.
Some bands have recognized this and have posted
a web site of their own. Those in such a position
have to answer some questions for themselves: 1-
How many people are viewing my site? and 2- Am I
satisfied with that number or should it be higher?
It has been said that having an isolated site on
the internet is like having a page in a book in a
library, if people don't know where to look they
won't find you. Many internet surfers agree with
this analogy. It is also important to consider what
the site offers the viewer to keep them coming
back, if and when the site is found?
"Strength in numbers". Most of us have heard
this phrase at one time. If you consider how a
major record label operates, or any other large
corporation for that matter, you can see that is
how big business operates. By pooling the resources
from several bands, you can advertise a gig. Get a
hundred bands together..................
By utilizing a "collective" approach, Hear and
Now brings the music and the audience together. The
Hear and Now site has also incorporated features
such as a monthly magazine called Virtual Graffiti
which will feature interviews, reviews, rants, live
broadcasts, industry gossip, a games room and more.
For musicians, we have included the Industry page
which features an industry related magazine, a
library of industry contacts and an interactive
classifieds section.Entertainment, variety, and
promotion attract the audience and keep them coming
back.

Fees for a Hear and Now web page are used to
